Engine
Since the extensive upgrades, it has been driven only approximately 2,500 miles. I do drive it on occasion, but only if the weather is good. It is stored in my garage under cover with a "battery tender plus".

OPEL 2.4 engine shipped from Germany in crate.
Weber 38DGES carb.
Getrag 5 speed.
Oversized clutch.
Shortened drive shaft to accommodate new transmission.
New bearings at all 4 corners
2 1/4" free flowing exhaust system.
Extra-dense radiator core.
custom OPEL fan that works with 2.4 engine.
Electric fan mounted in "pusher" position.
New rebuilt starter.
Orbital battery relocated to rear of car.
Yokohama A509 205/60/13 tires.
Rear sway bar.
Low-pressure gas shocks.
Lowered front "sport" spring.
Lowered rear "sport" springs
New polyurethane bushings throughout.
Recaro seats with optional vinyl insert.
Re-carpeted the interior.
180watt AM/FM/CD.
