A shot of my '73 Opel GT in May, '98 (just after I bought it).

New 2.4 Opel engine with Weber carb.

I spent most of the winter making these upgrades:
Upgrade from 1.9 engine to 2.4 engine.
Upgrade to Weber 38DGES carb.
Upgrade from original 4 speed, to Getrag 5 speed.
New 2 1/4" free flowing exhaust system.
Replaced old fan with electric fan.
New Yokohama A509 205/60/13 tires.
Addition of rear sway bars.
New gas shocks.
Swapped out the original seats with Recaros.
Re-carpeted the interior.
Swapped out the original AM radio with a 180watt AM/FM/CD.
I still have many plans for the future, so stay tuned.
